Darzeena ("we", "us") is a bilingual AI shopping assistant serving the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, operated from Riyadh.

• Chat content: the messages you send to the assistant. These are forwarded to our AI providers to generate a response.
• Local browser storage: we store your conversation, language preference, and terms acceptance in your browser (localStorage) only — this never reaches our servers.
• Technical request data: IP address, user-agent, and timestamps — used for security and abuse prevention.
• Contact information: if you email us, we retain your email address and message to respond to you.

We do not collect: payment details, national IDs, or passwords. Please do not send these in chat.

• To operate and improve the shopping assistant.
• To prevent abuse, fraud, and misuse of the service.
• To reply to your enquiries when you contact us.
• To comply with legal obligations in KSA & UAE.

We run the service on trusted providers who may process your data under data-processing agreements:

• Google (Gemini API) — AI response generation.
• Cloudflare — edge hosting and DDoS protection.
• Supabase — backend data storage where applicable.
• Google AdSense — sponsored advertising (see next section).

Darzeena uses Google AdSense to serve ads. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site and other sites on the internet.

Google's advertising partners may also use cookies and web beacons to collect information about your activity to personalise ads and measure their effectiveness.
